It all started in 1841 in Reading Berkshire where Mr Mayer of AMS started selling clocks in England made by his father Andreas Mayer.

We bought this for ourselves as a 25th Wedding Anniversary treat and are extremely pleased with our purchase. With a relaxing ticking (8 ticks per 5 seconds) and gentle strike, it provides the mellow background sound that we hoped for. As for its appearance, it has a simple but very attractive appearance that suits our living room perfectly. In all, we are delighted with our new clock.

This clock looks brilliant in our newly fitted and decorated kitchen. Only downside is that you can see the mounting hole through the glass face. Maybe a slight design change is needed to rectify this issue. Would have been 5* otherwise.
